Standish is located within a 30 minute commute of Portland and is one of the more affordable towns in the Greater Portland area with lower taxes than some of its neighboring towns that are closer to Portland. The Town of Standish includes the villages of Standish Corner, Sebago Lake, Whites Bridge, and Steep Falls.
