How does the old business & life quote go? "If you aren't living you are dying"? I think that was Tony Robbins. Anyway, I'm a big believer in that and that is why the company I founded in the middle of a world-wide pandemic has done nothing but grow in 2020. Of course, I didn't do it on my own. Not hardly! I couldn't have done it without Ernie & Susan Whitehouse of Whitehouse Consulting. Thank you Ralph Bartholomew for the awesome logo! Then there is Cari Olson Turnbull & Josh Plowman running the Cumberland & Gorham branches. A real estate company is nothing but a bunch of desks and chairs without its agents so a big shout to all of them. We've gone from 0 agents to 43 and 0 offices to 3 in a matter of 5 months with 2 more offices planned by the end of the year (stay tuned!). A big shoutout to my administrative staff, Michelle Juliano & Beth Sanford (honorable mention to Mary Daniels for stepping in when needed thank you). I can never forget my parents Mark Floor (Happy Birthday today DAD) &Karen Floor for getting me started on this real estate journey 25 years ago this year. It has been a wild ride. Maine Real Estate Experts would also not be where it is without our countless clients who have used our services. No, we aren't the biggest real estate company in Maine (although who knows?!) and we aren't a big national franchise but we are locally owned and operated and our goal is to put a real estate office in any town or city in Maine big or small that can support us. While reflecting on my good fortune and that of my company, I can't help but think of all that has been lost in 2020. We are sort of lucky to live where we live (I say that even as I look out my window now and see the snow falling. UGH!!) and while Maine has been lucky to be on the lower end of Covid cases and deaths many of lost their businesses or gone deep in debt to keep them going. Many of our kids have lost their sports and other things that kids should get to enjoy. Concerts? Don't get my started. I miss live music so much. All is not well in the world but things will get better and we will get through this. While real estate is not everything it is a huge part of our lives and if we can help in any small way to help you achieve their real estate goals than that is what we are here for. We look forward to serving you in 2020 and beyond.
